This morning I switched course and walked with my neighbor thru the forest and out to the other headland in our community, Elk Head. It was one of those special days; truly a gift from above. Sunny and warm with NO WIND along the trail and out at the headland. Because it is a fully exposed coastal site, the significance of a windless morning at this particular location is huge. Little to no wind at this site is rare.
We got out the door at 8:30 am to complete the 4.7 mile RT walk before the tourists came out. Experience has shown that many like to sleep in on Sunday. Today was no exception. I got some great images. The phrase “picture postcard” comes to mind. Enjoy the pics! #iluvtowalk
