Today’s walk had a balmy, tropical feel to it given that it was 63 degrees and 91% humidity. The air still smells of smoke from the wildfires but at least the air quality has gone almost back to normal range. My heart goes out to our neighbors to the north, east and south of us where the smoke continues to create unhealthy conditions.
Tourism appears to have slowed down and the City of Trinidad has gone back to being a sleepy hamlet during the week. Add a little fog to the mix and the number of outdoor enthusiasts seems to lower even more. That may prove to be short lived. Apparently recording artist John Mayer is helping to promote our area via his Range Rover commercial. If you haven’t seen it, check out https://wildrivers.lostcoastoutpost.com/2020/sep/16/john-mayor-goes-outside-del-norte-artists-land-rov/.
This morning Baxter and I had the headland all to ourselves. Enjoy the pics. I was able to capture some of today’s mood in my images. #iluvtowalk #baxteronthego #humboldt #trinidadcalifornia #johnmayer #rangerover
