After two days of spending 6.5 hrs online with 2,400 other people for a National conference, I took a walk down to Trinidad State Beach. I never know what I’ll find on a Friday afternoon. The waves were big, the tide was coming in, and there was (still is) a weird vibe in the air. It could just be the humidity. It’s not a full moon.
I knew there would be some tourists with kids, dogs, etc. In the past, I have even been witness to a pet chicken. There is always a first time for everything and today, someone was enjoying time on the beach with their four year old pet pig. I will never underestimate beach visitors again. People were spread out along the beach and in town, seeming to have a great time doing whatever they were doing. Even the woman who posed for her friends by the neighbor’s “love” vehicle.
