Between the foggy mist and the dramatic wave action this morning the ocean gave a reminder of her incredible strength. As we walked around the headland, looking down on the sea, it occurred to me just how insignificant humans really are. Our strength pales by comparison.

Also of note today was the flora and fauna. Native plants as well as garden shrubbery have started to bloom. Large flocks of Robins are hanging out in local trees. If I understand it correctly, the presence of Robins signifies the coming of spring. I hear this is an El Niño year. Hoping the plants and birds know more than we do.
