My daughter Allie and I took a walk in The Park today venturing out on one of my favorite Northern California trails, Trillium Falls Trail, inside Redwood National and State Parks. It’s hard to beat walking in a magnificent redwood forest. We stopped at the beach to refuel with lunch before heading home. The best word to describe the experience is, bliss.
If there ever was a great opportunity to clear your head and get grounded it’s this hike thru the woods. Walking amongst the big trees and rich vegetation, combined with the smells of a damp forest is sheer bliss. Trillium Falls and its creek were flowing rapidly which also added to the visual appeal and provided great sound effects (see video). It’s a small waterfall but lovely just the same.
