Baxter and I braved the storm this morning and got in our walk. While we got soaking wet on the exterior, thanks to technology our gortex shells kept us relatively dry underneath.
One of the beauties about walking in the rain is the solitude. The rain chases away the fair weather strollers and many of the beach combers. Today was true to form and we had the headland to ourselves. The downside was the risk of moisture on my cellphone. This winter is looking like a wet one so I’m going to need to invest in a phone case and some waterproof gloves.
