Baxter and I got up and onto the trail early to beat the crowds. It’s a beautiful sunny weekend which translates into lots of visitors. Most weekends we retreat to the comfort of our own backyard rather than hang at the beach with the weekend crowd. It’s a pandemic precaution but also because if you time it right, you can literally have the beach and headland to yourself.
The early bird gets the worm, as they say. We were able to do two laps around the headland before crossing paths with just a few people. This is why our little stretch of coastline is such a special place. Happy Sunday. Enjoy my pics! #iluvtowalk #baxteronthego #trinidadcalifornia #humboldt #humboldcounty
