As the pandemic continues to drag on I think we can all use some inspiration. I suggest turning to nature. We are on the cusp of a seasonal change. On the west coast the spring explosion of budding plants has started. I am always in awe by this development. I find it quite miraculous; the timing and the plants ability to break through the surface and unfold themselves.
One of the best ways to clear my head, making space so I can think, is by taking a walk. Without fail, the landscape around me inspires me every time. Even though I’m working out, I also relax and find comfort. The world looks different when one takes time to appreciate their surroundings. Some of this gets translated into the images I photograph. Try it sometime, you just might surprise yourself.
