Every once in awhile life brings you something exceptional. Tonight it was such a treat to hear Howdy Emerson play The Rowantree on his bagpipes at the top of Trinidad Head while the sun began to set. A definite, wish you were here kinda moment. One I’ll never forget. Especially the Happy Birthday tune Howdy played later and in my honor.
I have always loved the bagpipes. The intensity and depth of the bagpipe sounds warm my heart. Maybe there’s a keltic connection via my paternal Irish grandfather.
