We had some serious wind last night that to a lesser extent continues today. As a result a tree was down on the headland loop. Baxter and I skirted by the tree on foot but a motorized vehicle would be blocked. My neighbor saw us return and the response I got was, “you walked in this?” I’ll admit, it is windy and cold; 45 degrees and 19 mph wind. The worst of it is the windchill which makes the temperature feel colder. Otherwise it’s a gorgeous day.
I’m still waiting for the trillium to bloom on Trinidad Head. Featured below is their status as of this morning. The elderberry is now in bloom which is another confirmation that it’s spring. Time to think about what seeds and plants I must buy. Enjoy my pics! #iluvtowalk #baxteronthego #trinidadcalifornia #humboldtcounty #humboldt
