A peaceful end to the week and start of the weekend, not another soul on the trail. With the exception of a SUP boarder on the Bay and one couple on State Beach, it was just Baxter, me, some peeping oyster catchers and a couple of spouting whales this morning on Trinidad Head. It’s a glorious Friday. With the sun on my face and the trail to ourselves, what more could a girl ask for?
The fishing season has come to a close so most of the boats have gone to dry dock. You can see the difference in my pics. The lone SUP boarder pretty much had the bay to himself. All in all, it was a pretty quiet morning down by the pier. The weather forecast calls for rain this weekend. Not to be a kill joy but, fingers crossed. Our region needs the water.
