On this Halloween Day I made up for lost walking time (due to jury duty) by putting in double time. Baxter and I hit the headland this am and this afternoon I did a longer second walk with my friend Annie. The end result: 20,171 steps today!

Mushroom and fungi galore can be found in our local forests right now. I got some fun pics. I’m hoping your All Hallows’ Eve went well. We had quite a few trick or treaters of all ages. In order to be Covid safe we set up a self-serve Candy Station in our driveway. Most of the kiddos were honest and just took one bag. One bad apple later robbed the whole candy box. Disappointing to see that happen because in the end, it short changed the other kids. I’d say our contribution of $50 worth of candy was generous enough.
