Tis the season to turn off the noise, gather with family, and celebrate all we have to be grateful for. Time with our two grown children is the best gift I could have received. I’m very grateful that my family has the time to share with each other and the resources to indulge in special holiday meals and beverages. We all like to cook and calories don’t count at Christmas, right?
Fortunately for me I have a daughter who likes to get out onto the trails as much as her mother does. During her visit we have taken Baxter out for quite a few spins around Trinidad Head and today walked in solitude (w/o Baxter) on the Rim Trail in Sumeg State Park. Getting out into the coastal forest and burning off a few of those well enjoyed holiday calories.
My pics in this post are a selection of images taken this past week. I hope this holiday season has brought you joy and given you a chance to spend time (in person or via Zoom) with the people most important to you. Enjoy the last few days of 2021. #iluvtowalk #baxteronthego #family #christmas2021 #trinidadcalifornia #humboldtcounty #humboldt #perspectivesfrommytrail
