Saturday June 6, 2020
It’s always weird not having my trusty sidekick on a walk with me. But today is Saturday and the flood gates of tourism seem to have opened. Alaska was among the array of out-of-state license plates I saw today. On the upside, a walk without Baxter in tow is almost like a new found sense of freedom. No pulling, barking or spinning around everytime another dog is near. It’s actually a more enjoyable walk, and I have a steady hand to take photos.
I knew the State beach would be a busy place. It’s June, the weekend and it’s suppose to rain starting this afternoon lasting thru Sunday. It’s also the salmon fishing season. It didn’t disappoint, I was reminded why I go early on the weekends or don’t go at all.
I got my walk in on the tail end of the low tide. Here are my favorite images today. #iluvtowalk #walkingmakesmehappy
