Today’s Walk: Rhythm of the Ocean

Monday June 22, 2020

Baxter and I did an extra lap around the headland this morning because it felt good but also to burn off the very tasty strawberry rhubarb pie I made and ate yesterday in celebration of Father’s Day. It’s my favorite type of pie made from fresh picked rhubarb we grow in our garden. The pie filling came out as smooth as silk and the crust design turned out cute. I was concerned because I used a different brand of flour than I usually do. Different types of flour vary greatly with some resulting in a tough pie crust. My husband and I agreed, it was one of my best.

We had a foggy start to the day so my pics from today’s walk are limited. The ocean was putting on a nice display with great audio so today’s post includes a video clip. Due to the fog visibility is limited but you certainly can hear it. Ahh, the rhythm of the ocean… #iluvtowalk #walkingmakesmehappy #baxteronthego #pie #piemaker
