There is an eerie feeling and mood in the air today. Early morning fog combined with the environmental affects of the wild fires to the south and east of us have created a strange orange and gloomy glow. A light coating of ash continues to rain down on us and the sun is blood red. I’m hearing from friends and family that this is also the case in Oregon, Washington, Southern California and parts of Arizona and New Mexico.
Baxter and I took our usual spin around the headland. The fog layer provided some great photo ops. Today’s environmental conditions however, are creating a mood similar to a winter storm. My intuition is telling me to curl up with a blanket and read a book. Baxter is feeling the same and is passed out on our couch as I write. Enjoy the pics. I’ve also included a video clip of the waves hitting Trinidad State Beach this morning. #iluvtowalk #baxteronthego #humboldt #trinidadcalifornia
